If you're buying or selling a home through Bussey Ainsworth, chances are Lynda is the one walking you through it. She handles the firm's real estate closings and wills & estates files, and after more than 25 years in the field, she knows the process inside and out.

Lynda was born and raised in the south end of Peterborough. She graduated from PCVS in 1993, then enrolled in the accelerated Legal Assistant Program at SSFC in 1997. She completed her placement with Gary Ainsworth in the summer of 1998, and after graduation she volunteered for several months to gain more experience. In August of 1999, Gary hired her on a temporary basis while he looked for a new legal assistant. He never did find one – and 25 years later, she's still here.

Lynda loves her job. She loves working with clients, and she finds it especially gratifying to hand over the keys to a first-time homebuyer. After all these years, she's still learning, still being challenged, and still showing up every day for the people who walk through the door.

When she's not at the office, you'll find Lynda with her partner Geoff, their two dogs and two cats, or out at their trailer on Pigeon Lake.
