Bookkeeper

I was born in New Brunswick and lived many years in Nova Scotia. My family is one of the founding families of Lunenburg, NS – established in 1753.

Barry and I met in high school and were married before we finished college. At the time, I was working on my ARCT in piano from the Royal Conservatory and my Bachelor's degree from Burman University in Alberta, both of which I finished after we were married. I completed my law clerk course several years later, in preparation for someday helping Barry in his law practice.

I've taught piano for almost 40 years and currently teach five days a week, both at home and at a private school in Oshawa. When the need arose for a bookkeeper at the law office, I decided to open up one day a week to come and help out. It's lovely being part of the office staff family and getting to know the clients who come in.

Barry and I have three grown children and nine grandchildren who are the love of our lives. We love cycling in spring, summer, and autumn, and cross-country skiing in winter. I'm passionate about serving the community in the areas that matter most to me – music, children, and freedom.
