Gary has practised law for over 40 years. He graduated from Western University's law school in 1980 and started his career as corporate counsel for two large international financial institutions in Toronto. In 1988, he returned to his hometown of Peterborough and opened this firm.

Over the years, Gary became a fixture in the Peterborough legal community. His clients know him for his warm, hospitable approach and his ability to cut through complex legal problems. He's especially well regarded for his estate and succession planning work – helping families think carefully about how to protect and pass on what they've built.

Barry Bussey took over the practice from Gary in May 2023.
